Recent History
The Oswego and Oswego Sunrise Rotary Clubs collaborated in forming the SUNY Oswego Rotaract Club which celebrated its charter on February 16, 2008. It became the first campus Rotary International affiliate in central and northern New York State. Rotaract co-advisers are Diane Dillon of the Oswego Rotary Club and Tim Nekritz of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club.

The five charter officers of the Rotaract Club are members of the SUNY Oswego women’s ice hockey team so the charter celebration was held following a hockey game with SUNY Buffalo. Some of the ticket sales benefitted the new club.
